February '05 - Well, I've done some updating on the site, if you've noticed
I've taken down my Artwork & Writing pages. In place of these pages, I am
going to start a public poem page, where anyone can send in a poem if they
want it to be posted. It seems kinda hypocritical, but I promise to credit
each author and never claim a poem that I didn't write as my own. I am also
considering a public artwork page, but I am not sure how to go about that and
still protect myself from receiving pornographic images. We'll see how that
goes. I still probably won't have time to write any of the Friends and Family or
Related Issues pages for a while so they'll remain up and coming. Sorry about
that.
PLEASE send in Survivor Stories or Questions that you would like to see
posted on the site! I am hoping to start a Survivor Stories Page and an FAQ
type page.
October '04 - Well, there's been a chat room up, but I apparently didn't
add that here. I won't have time to write any of the Friends and Family or
Related Issues pages for a while so they'll remain up and coming. I hope to
have a URL change in the near future... possibly.. we'll see. I also hope to
do some bigger updates in the next couple months, put more poems up and such.
I haven't recieved ANY survivor stories via feedback form, so if you are a
recovered or remissive Self-injurer SEND IN YOUR STORY! =) once I get a few
I'll make a "Survivors Stories" page. Anyway, I think that's all for
now!
December '03 - Well! I've finally got a feedback form, so that is no longer
up and coming, which means that hopefully soon the Survivors Stories page will
also be on the What's New section and not Up and Coming!! I still haven't been
able to write my story or work on anymore of the Friends and Family or related
issues pages. So They are still up and coming, bear with me!!! I am also
thinking about how to host Chats. I may just include a chat room, possibly a
message board later on down the road. So keep checking back!!!
November '03 - I've been really slow with this site, so basically
everything I mentioned last month that I wanted to add, I still want to add.
I'm am going to attempt at getting the feedback form up first. The other stuff
will probably appear more slowly, as I have other commitments for time. But I
will try to get things up asap!
October '03 - As soon as I can I will add a feedback section, where you
can send in comments, questions, and suggestions. I also hope to add a
Survivor's Stories section to the Healing Page. That will happen after I get
the feedback tool running. One day I also plan to add a related issues page
that talks about issues that accompany SI (such as Eating Disorders,
Depression, and Abuse.) Also, I will be adding My Story (a page about my
journey through SI). I am in the process of figure out how to write it without
too much personal information. Once it is written I will post it. I will also
be writing pages for the Friends & Family section directed towards family
members. As of now, I only have pages for Friends.
